Studies Show Penis Extenders Work
The use of penis extenders is recommended by medical practitioners and scientists. Penis enlargement through the traction or stretch and gain process has been proven to work for men looking to enlarge their penises. The processes are supported by various studies conducted on various groups of men. Using a penis extender has a number of benefits including increasing the length of the penis, straightening the penis and increasing the girth. These changes are noticeable and can be measured to determine the magnitude of change.
The traction process is considered safe and effective with proof of these claims published in several clinical journals and other reliable scientific publications. Some of the studies that have revealed that the traction process is effective include a study published in the British Journal of Urology at the University of Turin, Italy, Canadian Journal of Phalloplasty and a study performed at the Scandinavian Clinic of Plastic Surgery.
The study done at the University of Turin was conducted by a team of researchers based at the San Giovanni Battista Hospital. It covered a period of 12 months. The best part of this study was that it gave the most legitimate and well-set evidence of penis enlargement through the use of a penis extender. The study comprised of 16 highly motivated patients with an average weight of 47.
Their average flaccid penis length was 7.15 cm (2.82 inches) while the average of the length stretched was 9.62 cm (3.79 inches). These were measured at baseline. During the study, the patients were required to put on the extender daily for 4 to 6 hours for a period of six months.
Frequent follow-ups were then conducted at the first, third and sixth month as well as at the conclusion of the study. When the results were collected after 12 months of the study, it was found that the patients had gained an increase in the average flaccid penis length from 2.82 inches (7.15 cm) to 3.72 inches (9.45 cm) which were a 32% increase in length. The average length of the penis stretched increased from 3.79 inches to 4.45 inches at baseline which was 18% increase in length.
A second study conducted by the Canadian Journal of Phalloplasty showed that men using traction methods gained an amazing increase in the length of the penis, which ranged from 32% to 36%. Those men who participated in this study were required to put on the device for a period of 6 to 8 hours each day for five months. The patients realized a 32% increase in the length of the penis both erect and flaccid and a 36% increase in girth at the end of the study. The erectile strength improved tremendously by 36%.
A third study conducted at the Scandinavian Clinic of Plastic Surgery was aimed at evaluating and measuring penis stretching, which occurred as a result of applying penis extender devices. A total of 18 men aged between 23 and 47 years participated in this study. They were required to put on the extender device for 12 hours daily, 7 days a week for a period of 8 to 24 weeks. During the fourth month, an average increase of 2 inches in length was reported.
From the above studies, it is clear that penis extenders work for men. The results may vary depending on the number of hours the device is used and how well the user abides by the instructions given.
